Abstract

The area of Cold collisions has significant importance for study fundamental effects in atomic and molecular physics. Nowadays in our lab we have an experimental setup to study cold collision in a magneto-optical trap of sodium. The student of scientific initiation will be inserted in the global project and also he will have specific activities devoted to reference cells, source of atoms and control and data acquisition. (AU)
