Abstract

ABSTRACT: In the main project we have as principal objective the synthesis of a series of complexes containing ruthenium and various phosphines with different structures and basicities, where our purpose is to evaluate which species present in the complex is that one that presents antitumoral activity. In this projet, in particular, we will develop research with the 1,1-(diphenylphosphine)ferrocene and the aminoacids glycine, DL-alanine, DL-valine, Dl-tyrosine, L-methionine, DL-arginine, DL-lysine, DL-cysteine and triptophane. The use of different phosphines find explanation due the fact that they present different basicities and steric effects, what can play influence in the antitumoral activities of the complexes. In the case the target will be MDA-MB 231 (brest cancer). In the same way the use of different aminocids is because they have different structures what can produce complexes with different chemical stabilities, and as well with different hidrophylicity, what can contribute to different activity of their complexes.
