Abstract

The Brazilian economy and, especially, the industrial sector has been through a very dinamic time, characterized by an intense need of innovation as technological as managerial, demanded by the high degree of competitiveness of the market. In this context, managers are facing the need of developing and implement management tools to effectively manage the range and quality tools are possibilities already tested and structured to contribute on this. This project has as main objective to verify, through a search-type survey, which the degree of usage of quality tools in the industrial companies of the region of Bauru / SP. The questionaires will be sent by email to 207 industrial companies associated with CIESP / Regional Bauru (Center of Industries of São Paulo State). In this project a brief theoretical review about Quality Management, Quality Management Certifiable System and Quality Tools. It is expected that the results of this study identify possible problems, potential and, especially, opportunities to use these tools in a collective way in the region of Bauru. (AU)
