Abstract A development mathematical model to solve the long-range planning problem in the primary distribution system has been considered in this research project, the main topics are: (1) a real and reactive integrated planning considering circuits (location, size and type of conductor), substations (location and reinforcement), capacitor placement, voltage regulator placement and sectionalizing switches placement; (2) multistage planning; (3) distribution planning considering security constraints and; (4) a mathematical analysis about the radial constraints. A specialized non-linear Branch and Bound algorithm will be implemented to solve the distribution expansion planning. The main contribution of this research project is development of an integrated and flexible model to solve many distribution system planning problems that appear in the literature with a whole form or a separate form. This research project considers that the activities of the Marina Lavorato de Oliveira under the supervision of Professor Dr. Rubén Augusto Romero Lázaro. The research activities will be developed in the Department of Electrical Engineering of the School of Engineering of Ilha Solteira, São Paulo State University, DEE-FEIS-UNESP. The associate researcher of the DEE-FEIS-UNESP Dr. Marcos Julio Rider Flores will also help in this project. (AU) | |
