Abstract

The main aim is to create an internet site that will make available an extensive master research based on the analysis of several structural masonry building design. From this research several project pointers were determined, indicating the average materials consumption in these buildings. A sample of 120 buildings were assessed. In this new project some architectural pointers will be added, the database organized in a specific software and an internet site created organizing the data and making the results available. These results are very important to benchmark new projects. We understand that the tool we intend to creat will bring very usefull benefits to the civil construction sector.
