Abstract We propose to make an observational study to distinguish between properties of LINERs as a function of three theoretic models: Black Holes, Starbursts and Shock Waves/Supernovae. We will analyse images of three LINERs, previously observed with Chandra X-Ray Telescope, that we observed optically with the GMOS on the Gemini observatory. The main goal is to search for optical indicators that could discriminate between the distinct models. | |
