Abstract The project is to analyze and solve numerically as well as variationally the time-dependent and the time-independent Gross Pitaevskii equations for a binary mixing of trapped condensates. The condensates are considered of atoms that have two-body interaction trapped by anisotropic harmonic interaction. With the obtained solutions, the aim is to determine the spectra and the elementary excitation modes of both condensates; and, with such modes, to stablish the stability conditions of the mixture. Our aim is also to consider an extension of the Gross-Pitaevskii, or through the three-body interaction, or considereing the molecule formations, or using the interaction with the thermal cloud. We intend determined the dynamics of the collapse on mixture when it exceed the limits of the stability conditions. | |
