Abstract

We intend to identify the strategic drivers considered for the Private Equity operations in Brazil. Due to the high degree of confidentiality of this type of operation, we will survey the market participants as well as the main operations in the Brazilian market by segment. We will send questionnaires to investors to learn the factors that lead to the definition of the target company and to find how these characteristics affect the value of each transaction.
