Abstract

This work aims the development of a position measurement device for rigid objects that describes planar movements on the 3D space. This measurement device will make use of a single uncalibrated camera taking pictures from a generic fixed position. Image processing algorithms will be used to recognize the object on the image, track it on the time sequence of images and to perform the image rectification.
