Abstract We will obtain models for self-gravitating systems in the 1PN approximation, startingfrom known Newtonian models with spherical and axial symmetry. Equilibrium and non-equilibrium situations will be analyzed, both in the collisionless and collision regime. Theobtained results will be se compared with the corresponding newtonian limit, in order tostudy the importance of post-newtonian corrections in each model. | |
