Abstract

The aim of this study was to validate the Escala de Vulnerabilidade a Estressores no Trabalho (EVET), comparing with the test of Raciocínio Inferencial (Rin). The EVET is a scale with 40 itens on stressful situations on the work, which have three factors: annoyance and opposition in the work, pressure in the work and lack of organizational support. It is a Likert scale, going to one to three points, and total score varying of 40 the 120. The Rin, consists in a set of geometric figures that form logical sequences and is showing one part lacking, being requested to the participant to complete it with a coherent form. It is divided in four parts, being that in the parts A and B the person has four alternatives for reply, and in the following ones (C and D), six alternatives. Its punctuation varies of 0 the 40, being that how much bigger the punctuation biggest to its capacity of inferential reasoning. In relation to the results, first of all, will be done the descriptive statistic, will be carried through to relative statisticians between RIn and EVET. After that, the analyses of sex difference will be made. Finally, the correlations between the assessment, and will be made the analysis for extreme groups. (AU)
