Abstract

This proposal is based in two areas that developed independently so far: Bond Graphs and Computational Fluid Dynamics. In recent works, a methodology was developed, resulting a combination of Bond Graph concepts with elements of numerical methods. The objective of this proposal is the application of this methodology to one-dimensional compressible flows. The project will be carried out at Núcleo de Dinâmica e Fluidos (NDF), at Departamento de Engenharia Mecânica, Escola Politécnica, University of São Paulo.
