Abstract

Considering the reflection about circulation spaces and the intervention logic of publics politics, the aim of this research is to describe as the inhabitant of the east urban area of Presidente Prudente (SP) takes urban intervention through CURA III Program, which means the moving of population from Vila Brasil to Jardim Morada do Sol. The research is focused on the development of relations between different agents that in public politics determining its individual and minority groups interests in detriment of society interest as a whole. It’s necessary to emphasize that, proposing a research about local politics interventions in the circulation spaces of Presidente Prudente (SP), it’s essential to take into account the public politics intervention considering some aspects, like the imaginary proceeding from transformations of land’s use, more specifically, in this case, the resident’s imaginary before inhabitants of Vila Brasil transferred for the more isolated and precarious urban area in Presidente Prudente (SP) - the Jardim Morada do Sol.
