Abstract

The present Project of scientific initiation aims at the following: Studying the concepts regarding the planning and control of manufacturing production systems as well as the aspects concerning the Internet and other communications networks; Discussing and interpreting the various elements which comprise a planning and production control system, creating a knowledge base for the present work; Understanding the PIPEFA process and other manufacturing cells targeted by this research Project; Developing a module of production scheduling (MPS@e), in the light of planning and control concepts, in a virtual environment, which provides support to the module of planning and production control (MPPC@e); Carrying out applications simulations of MPS@e; Discussing and seeking the MPS@e integration in the MPPC@e system, and finally, Elaborating the project’s final report
