Abstract

This research is inserted in a context of ampler plans developed with the support of FAPESP and CNPq, which aims is to analyze and support public policies for environmental planning and management of water resources in the Paranapanema River Basin. In this context, the project has the main objective of contributing to the environmental planning of the Fartura Stream Basin, in the municipalities of Fartura and Taguaí, São Paulo, and the management of water resources, especially in the Paranapanema River Basin. The methodological procedures include literature review, participation of colloquies in research group, collect data and information, questionnaires, field work, preparation of thematic maps and synthesis, analysis and systematization of data and information and writing of scientific reports. The results will be divulged to the CBH Alto Paranapanema, municipal town halls of Fartura and Taguaí and compose monograph of undergraduate course in Geography. (AU)
