Abstract

This subject has been thought due to the absence of a study of environmental comfort about constructions with historical value for the city of Bauru (SP). The subject is a set of three buildings that formed the old administrative headquarters of the NOB, the Noroeste do Brasil, old Companhia de Estradas de Ferro Noroeste do Brasil (CEFNOB), one of the responsible for the development of the city. Each one of these elements will be identified by bibliographical ways and visits. Simultaneously, indoor air temperature and humidity and spatial distribution of luminance and illuminance data will be gotten through out the year, to evidence the efficiency of this construction with relation to thermal and luminous comfort. The objective of the research is recovering the bioclimatic strategies used in a building of the decade of 1920. (AU)
