Abstract

This is a work in the computer systems area, which goal is the development of software for monitoring and automation of the water level in water tanks. The work focus is on the software, but it also includes some hardware aspects, requiring studies about water level sensing devices and sensor interfacing techniques. The software implementation will be in assembly language for PIC microcontrollers family, seeking the development of a small executable software and an optimized hardware with low cost, small physical size, and low power consumption. The final expected result is the development of software reliable, able to perform the basic functions of water level control in water tanks.
