Abstract

The purpose of the present study is to describe the performance of children aged 5 and 8 years old in tests to evaluate the understanding of verbal tasks. Two hundred children will be evaluated aged between 5 and 8 years, with normal language and learning development. These individuals will be evaluated from adapted orders proposed by De Renzi & Vignolo (1962) and Di Simoni (1978), who composed the five parts of the Token Test. It will also be applied an auditory sequence memory test of the Illinois Test of Psycholinguistics Abilities – ITPA adapted to Portuguese by Bogossian & Santos (1977). The results will be analyzed and submitted to statistic analysis. (AU)
