Abstract

The research subjects of this study are samples of alkaline rocks from the region generally called "Complex ultramafic-carbonatitic of Jacupiranga" in the city of Cajati, southwestern of Sao Paulo. It is intended, through methods such as X-ray diffraction, EDS coupled to SEM, and any chemical analysis by electron microprobe to identify the occurrence of rare minerals or scarce contained in samples already collected and to deepen the studies of minerals have described in the literature. This project consists of the continuity of the work of laboratory analysis of samples of the collection organized by the supervisor of this project, which is in progress. (AU)
