Abstract

In this project to be developed at the Universidade de São Paulo underthe supervision of Prof. Dr. Paolo Piccione I will investigate the relationbetween the Laplacian of singular spaces and its geometry. More precisely, I plan to work on the spectral geometry of orbifolds and Alexandrov spaces. One goal is the construction of examples of non-isometric but isospectral Alexandrov spaces.
