Abstract

This project concerns the development of expert system technology for applications regarding Magnetic Non-Destructive Essays. The developed system will be primarily composed by a pre-processing module based on multi-variable statistical analyses and clustering, and by a probabilistic neural network. In order to make the network adaptable and evolutionary, an optimization module will be added to the network. Experimental data, already available at LADIN, will be used for tests and validation.
