Abstract

This project proposes the analysis and implementation of a methodology for creation of a Documentary Tesauro for Medical Radiology area, focused on mammography, using tools of the documentary languages for elaboration of a Tesauro Set of documents. The Tesauro will be based on the lexicon of the BI-RADS and applied to the Radiology Information System of the Hospital das Clínicas de Ribeirão Preto - USP (RIS-HCFMRP). This project intends to explore the most recent advances in the area of computational systems modeling, distributed data bases, protocols of communication and indexation and medical document semantics.
