The gas fluidization of heterogeneous particles presents a crescent interest in industrial processes. Between numerous applications cited: solid separation, combustors, waste treatments, polymerization rectors, coating, etc. The number of works about the study of fluid-dynamic behavior of particulate solid mixtures is already relatively small. Consider a challenge the study of this kind of particles because distinguish of sensible way the phenomena of fluidization of homogeneous particles. The present works of Undergraduate Thesis has the objective to study the entrainment of solid heterogeneous particles in a gas-fluidized bed and in special attention the Transport Disengaging Height (TDH) for particle mixtures of A and B group of Geldart Classification. This work will follow the research developed by Undergraduate Thesis students financed by SAE/Unicamp (process number 008/1998) and Fapesp (process numbers 95/4620-3 e 02/05405-4).
