Abstract

The purpose of this research project is the study of the coupling processes between the neutral atmosphere and the nocturnal F-region over the Brazilian region, focusing the electric field effects in the ionospheric domain. The plan of work of the present research project will be as follows: 1. Acquiring an introductory knowledge about the INPE ionospheric equipment and respective data reduction. 2. Reading the concerning scientific bibliography, 3. Carrying out the digital processing of the airglow imager, 4. Carrying out digital processing of the Digisonde data, 5. Carrying out of the research project, and 6. Preparation of term reports for FAPESP.
