Abstract

Considering that the children since very early have contact with numbers, but that this contact does not guarantee the significant learning of this idea, we will search to understand, from a bibliographical research, the processes of numerical alphabetization in the initial series of basic education and from then on to detach significant activities for the development of this process. From available literature in the area, we can detach: BRAZIL, MEC (1998); CERQUETTI-ABERKANE & BERDONNEAU (1997); DANYLUK (2002); KAMII (1991,1992); NUNES & BRYANT (1997); NUNES, et al. (2001); PANIZZA (2006), VILLAGE & CALLEJO (2006), among others. In this way, the main objective is to understand the processes of numerical alphabetization.
