Abstract

This research proposal intends to analyze the negotiations on environmental issues in the Doha Round departing from thorough reviews of the ongoing debate in the economic theory and the international political economy on the complex linkages between the trade and environment regimes and the inclusion of environmental commitments in WTO trade agreements.
