Abstract

This dissertation investigates the reality of the possibles in the philosophy of Thomas Aquinas. It intends to study how many ways one says "possible", specially the possible said absolutely and not created. It investigates deeply the five theses that hold the question on possibles¿ reality, scilicet: (1) that which is possible it isn¿t contradictory; (2) before something is made, it was possible for it to be made; (3) God does what is possible; (4) if one is somehow, it is because of God; (5) that which is contradictory it isn¿t anything. In addition, this dissertation investigates the defense of not-created possibles as ideas in divine intellect (AU)
