Abstract

Because of the search for new and eager information, and the unbridled struggle for the hearing, new models of 'journalism' appear on television vehicles and alternate journalistic identity discourse. In this way, some productions that have won good audience ratings, have made use of some strategies in order to achieve their goals, ranging from the use of different discourses based on "media truth" to the so-called "real effects" that demarcate its discursive ethos. In view of such notes, this research aims to revisit some models of significant popularescos journalism - in terms of innovation in news making and discursive representation - of the 80, 90 and 2000/10 of the twentieth century: Documento Especial – Televisão Verdade (decade 80); Aqui Agora (90s); and Balanço Geral (emerged in the first decade of the 2000s and still in the air) in the light of discourse analysis of French tradition, rhetorical analysis and analysis of elements that compose the sound-imagistic narrative. This methodological lathing enabled us to work with the ethos designed in the enunciation of each of the above attractions, in which we try to infer how the journalistic identity was built in its discursive content through ethopics projections.
