Abstract

In the architectural universe, the quality of a project derives directly and indirectly from the process of its development and from all the elements that characterize it. The same applies to the universe of illumination whose design process is so little studied in Brazil. In order to contribute to overcoming this gap, this research presents a model of lighting design process applied to architecture, resulting from the combination of data from a survey about the knowledge about the design process in architecture and lighting present in the foreign thematic literature, and data from the professional practice of four Brazilian lighting designers, compiled from testimonials from each of them (AU)
