Abstract | |
Given the recent discovery of a Standard Model like Higgs boson (with mass around 125 GeV), we are faced with a new experimental demand: it is necessary to measure the properties of that new particle with more precision (such as CP, specific couplings with bosons and fermions, self-couplings, decay width, Branching Ratios). In the first part of this work, the main goal is an analysis of the specific couplings of this new scalar state with the electroweak bosons (W ± and Z 0 ), searching for CP violating and effective couplings. For this purpose, we will analyse the properties of the tagging jets with a Higgs produced through the weak boson fusion (WBF) channel, using the Fox-Wolfram moments rather a popular analysis with the azimuthal distance between the tagging jets. In the second part of this work, following recent CMS and ATLAS Collaborations data, we analyse models with the scalar leptoquarks R2 and R~2, using Drell-Yan and monojet processes, in order to exclude some regions of their parameter space (leptoquark mass and its coupling with SM fermions).
