Abstract

Among sounds, radio, art and science diffusion, we release this invitation-research, paying attention to sound by its power of thought and invention. Sound, sounds (!) that cause purposes of representation, but also resist to evidential force, to communication-recognition model that pervades the communication, science diffusion. Sounds that echo and resonate possibilities of stuttering, suspending, emptying, generating leakages to remain stable anchorages on knowledge, judgments, scientific and cultural values. Possibilities of thinking the listening to which we are conditioned, a disciplined listening to seek and create effects of similarity between things and ideas, a listening used to classify, label, organize thinking, build a sense of a single reality, to situate ourselves in comfortable sonic territories, predictable and stable - a listening supported and that is not given, but needs and is continuously created. With this research, we launch with artists and researchers (which tension visual, aural and / or textually relations between sounds and what we hear, what we think and feel), an idea of radio that diffuse, but also lets digress, which focuses on the complexity of the radio language, that try the expression forms making proliferate other and unusual meanings among those already stated. Radio Alice, Frédéric Lavoie, ARTE Radio, Radioforum, adio desConETC@, rádiOFICINArte workshops, group multiTÃO corresponDANCE... Each one in its own way, helped us thinking of ways such as radio communication and radiophnonic science diffusion, by / through / within the sounds, could escape the opposition between what is real or unreal, truth or fiction, loyal or traitor, and to make emerge a new force of listening expression... Meetings that also expanded the thought about which forces, sensations, communications and sciences would mobilize an adrift listening, which is not tied to a person or to an organ of hearing. One more invitation: betting in sounds-characters, experimental sounds, which resist to the representational logic, to the invention of a single truth (imagery, sonorous, linguistic) to speak with and about sciences, about things and the world (AU)
