In this doctoral dissertation, I write about the work of Anna Bella Geiger, analyzing her artistic and educational practices, as well as her works, produced during the period of the Brazilian civil-military dictatorship (1964-1985). Focusing on spatializations, the discussions are elaborated on questions, problems, and criticisms around multiple ways in which Anna Bella Geiger creates imagery, exhibition, institutional, psychic, geographic, cartographic, historical, architectural, and poetic spaces. From a theoretical-methodological perspective, the research has a reference affiliated with feminist studies. (AU) | |
