Abstract

Dark Matter is one of the greatest puzzles in the current Particle Physics landscape. Since the Standard Model fails to explain it, many theories have been formed to describe its nature, both to account for the lack of signals in detection experiments (either directly or indirectly) and to reproduce its abundance. In this work, we focus on the Dark Photon model, and more specifically, we assume its coupling with Dark Matter (DM) to be of the dipolar type. We consider DM to be a Dirac fermion, with a mass ranging from a few MeV to tens of GeV. Through the freeze-out mechanism, modeled by the Boltzmann Equation, we were able to estimate its abundance and compare it with the limits imposed by the CMB and EWPM. (AU)
