this work tries to analyze the relation between normative grammar and Linguistics in Brazil, focusing on dictionaries and grammatical nomenclatures, since, as it is shown, such works have a fundamental role in the consolidation of the authorship ¿ as this concept is seen in the theory of Discourse Analysis. To do so, our main focus is Mattoso Câmara Jr., first Brazilian linguist. We also analyze works and concepts that are on the basis of the History of Linguistics in Brazil, wishing thereby to contribute to this field of research (AU) | |
