Abstract

The end of the 1980 decade and all the 1990 decade point to a strong opening of the Brazilian economy front to the international market, imposing a new standard of organization of the territory based on the search of the rationality and fluidity. Intensify the matter and information flows, the work division and the productive specialization. In this context, the modern logistic emerges as an element of basic importance, therefore it supplies the resources necessary to rationalize the ¿spatial circuits of production and the cooperation circles¿ in the territory. The task to insert competitiveness to the productive spatial circuits fits, among others agents, to the called ¿Logistic Operators¿. Besides having a deep knowledge of the territorial configuration and the normative bases, the Logistic Operators also makes an intensive use of information technologies and modern management techniques, being able to add value to the productive circuit of the company-customers. Thus, in the present work we tried to analyze as the Logistic Operators contribute for the redefinition of the use of the Brazilian territory face to the widening of the globalization contexts (AU)
