"Varda's cinessays: the documentary as a writing beyond itself" is a research on Agnès Varda'sdocumental production, which bends over her films, converting them into an object of study, in the sense of perceiving which are the stylistic procedures that the producer gives up in the construction of her narratives. Her workwith imagens started with the photography. She began her work in cinema inthe context of Nouvelle Vague and the eclosion of new paradigms such as thetransparency of the act of narrating, the explicitness of the viewpoint and thedirect interference of the producer herself. Her self-referenced narratives,incorporate performatic, reflexive, poetical, self-biographic charasteristicsand contexturize, in a first moment, within the universe of the modern post-wardocumentary and come affirming their importance up to today's moments (AU) | |
