Abstract | |
This thesis explore the relation that can be established between an aesthetics and an ethics in Sartre and Malraux. Based on their literature and theoretical works, we will show that, for the first art is critics to the bougeois values of abstraction which allows a distance from the real as a more sympathetic way to return to it; while for the second art can be seen as a possibility to scape from the chaos of the world with no values as well as a search for a new concept of man. Despite the very different approaches, both Sartre and Malraux relate arte and reality, aesthetics and ethics. An the similarities and distinctions of these relations are wath we intend to understand in this doctoral thesis. (AU) |
