Abstract
The present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions that comprise polyfunctional metal phenolates with biological uses as auxiliary anti-tumoral and cytoprotective agents, as anti-metastatic and anti-mutagenic agents when associated with chemotherapy agents. The present invention further relates to the use of polyfunctional metal phenolates for preparing medicaments for the treatment, prophylaxis or prevention of neoplastic diseases in humans and animals.
