Abstract
(EN) The present invention pertains to the field of information technology and more specifically to the execution of instructions in computer architectures and legacy code compatibility, and relates to a method and system for removal of instructions in computer architectures without disrupting compatibility with legacy code. The method and system may be used to guarantee compatibility of execution of old programs on new generations of a specific processor that does not necessarily include the subset of instructions necessary to execute the code thereof.
