Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition based on a mixture of standardised extracts or essential oils of Pterodon pubescens Benth. and Cordia verbenacea DC. Also disclosed are the use thereof and formulations comprising said composition. The composition can be used in the pharmacological field, more specifically in the treatment of acute or chronic musculoskeletal disorders associated with pain and/or inflammation, such as sprains, edemas, arthritis, traumas, inter alia. The composition ensures the maximum pharmacological effect.
