Selection process of mammalian sperm sex and method of dose quality control of frozen sexed semen. This process allows to produce by centrifugation in density gradient, in companies specialized in the production and commercialization of frozen semen, doses of semen enriched with sperm carrying the X or Y chromosome, without compromising the fertilization capacity of these sperm. Dose of sperm containing both X and Y sperm can be separated to produce subpopulations of sperm enriched with carriers of the X or Y chromosome, which are substantially pure relative to the desired sperm and substantially free of the other type of sperm Claim 1: Process of Selection of the sex of mammalian sperm based on the obtaining of the semen in natura from breeders according to routine procedures, characterized by comprising the following stages: a) density gradient centrifugation composed of chemically defined culture medium to preserve the stability and integrity of the sperm membrane; b) use of temperatures from 6 to 22sC, which preserve sperm viability; c) pH stabilization in the physiological band for each species, preferably around 7.4; d) association with the presence and substances that preserve sperm integrity, preferably using glucose, which prevents early training and acrosomic reaction, especially in cattle; and e) freezing of sperm after density gradient centrifugation in own diluents for this purpose, such as the use of egg Tris-yolk, for use in the in vitro production of embryos (PIV) or artificial insemination ( AI) Conventional (preferably female or male births or those made after hormonal treatment of females to produce synchronization of the spine and / or multiple ovulations, embryo harvest (mostly female or male) and subsequent transfer for recipient females Claim 9: Sexed semen according to any of the preceding claims, characterized by containing subpopulations of sperm enriched with carriers of the X or Y chromosome and being subjected to the following tests: quality control and semen doses containing centrifuged sperm in density gradient, neque said control protocol of the fertility quality of sperm subjected to sexing is composed of: a) evaluation of motility and vigor and endurance resistance test (TTR); b) specific coloration to assess the integrity of the sperm membrane; c) in vitro production of embryos; and d) artificial insemination through the commercial method. Claim 10: Artificial insemination method, characterized by using the sexed semen according to claim 9. Claim 11: Method of in vitro production of embryos, characterized by using sexed semen according to claim 9.
