Abstract

The present invention relates to a product named "immunogenic complex" comprising an adjuvant and encapsulated in solid particles of mesoporous silica characterized by a highly ordered nanostructure, preferably SBA-15 silica. Vaccine antigens of different nature in adjuvants. The immunogenic complex of the present invention is capable of presenting its constituent antigens to lymphocytes in a safe, stepwise and prolonged manner, which leads to more efficient immune memory, increased immunogenicity of antigens and improved antibody production. It ensures that effective immune protection is repeatedly achieved using lower amounts of antigen and/or fewer vaccine doses. Furthermore, the characteristics of the immunogenic complexes of the present invention promote efficient immune induction, homogeneous among "high and low responder" individuals
