Tarcísio Sales Vasconcelos

My main academic background is as an Agronomic Engineer, teacher in Agricultural Sciences and a Master's degree in Plant Physiology and Biochemistry from the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (ESALQ) at the University of São Paulo (USP). I also have a background in Tourism and Gastronomy, having worked within the tourism and hospitality axis, focusing on the tourist exploration of the northern coast of São Paulo, with special emphasis on gastronomic tourism, astrotourism, historical-cultural tourism and ecotourism (especially applied to the Ilhabela State Park - PEIb). Within the environmental axis, I have experience in the areas of forestry and plant biology, with an emphasis on functional genomics and teak physiology (Tectona grandis) in response to water stress (drought). Since 2019, I have been teaching at the technical level (modular technical courses / integrated with high school) within the areas of Nutrition and Dietetics, Environment and Tour Guide at Etec de São Sebastião. Recently (2023 and 2024) I took over the coordination of the execution of PROJETEC - Meeting of Entrepreneurial, Integrative and Technical-Scientific Projects at ETEC in São Sebastião.
