Marcia Santos da Silva Umeoka

Graduated in Biomedicine from Federal University of Pará (2006), MSc degree in Neuroscience and Cell Biology from the Federal University of Pará (2008) and PhD in Physiology from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School / USP (2015). During the doctorate, did a research internship abroad, at the University of Bristol - UK, from May 2013 to February 2014. Had a post-doctorate fellowship from CNPq developing research in physiology at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School / USP (2015) and a post-doctorate fellowship from Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research developing research in Neuroscience at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), Leiden, The Netherlands. Nowadays, is a professor in Human Physiology, at Centro Universitário de Goiatuba (UniCerrado) and a professor in Human Anatomy, at Faculdade Santa Rita de Cássia (Unifasc).
