Birthplace: Brazil

I hold a degree in Mathematics from the University of Florence, Italy (1992), and a PhD in Mathematics from the same university (1997). I am currently an associate professor, level 3, at the University of São Paulo, Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science (IME), Department of Mathematics. I have experience in the area of linear and nonlinear functional analysis and differential equations. My research interests focus on topological methods in the study of ordinary and delay differential equations, in existence and bifurcation problems of periodic solutions. I am interested in the theory of topological degree and its relations with the Conley index and spectral flow. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
