Dr. castilho holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Maringá (2005), a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Campinas (2007), a PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Campinas (2011), a postdoctoral degree from the University of Campinas (2012 ) and postdoctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia- Canada (2016). He currently works as Assistant Professor II at the School of Chemical Engineering of the University of Campinas and is deputy head of the Department of Process Engineering. Dr. Castilho has experience in Chemical Engineering, with emphasis on Particulate Systems and Fluid Dynamics, working mainly on the following topics: fluidization, circulating fluidized bed, stirred and mixing tanks, optical fiber, Particle Image Velocimetry, signal processing with emphasis on chaos analysis.
