Currently a professor at the Celso Suckow da Fonseca Federal Center for Technological Education (CEFET/RJ), Angra dos Reis campus. He has a post-doctorate with the Aeronautical Structures Group (GEA) of the São Carlos School of Engineering, University of São Paulo (2021-2022). He has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on Aircraft from the São Carlos School of Engineering, University of São Paulo (CAPES scholarship), with a one-year sandwich doctorate period carried out at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (CAPES scholarship from the PRINT program - Institutional Internationalization Program). He has a Professional Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University, in Houston - TX (CAPES scholarship from the Science Without Borders program) and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the São Carlos School of Engineering, University of São Paulo.
