Edison Duarte

Graduated in Physical Therapy at PUC Campinas (1976), master's degree from State University of Campinas (1984) and Ph.D. in Anatomy from the University of São Paulo (1988). He is currently an associate professor in the Department of Adapted Physical Activity in Physical Ed College - from State University of Campinas. In this College he held the positions of: Coordinator Graduate (1990-1994), Director of the College (1994-1998), Head of Department (2003-2004) Coordinator of Graduate Studies (2005-2006). He is Brazilian Paralympic Academy member; Classifier functional mode Wheelchair Fencing (International Wheelchair Amputee Sports Federation). He was President of the State Board of Social Welfare of São Paulo State (1995-1996). Founder and first president of the Brazilian Society of Adapted Motor Activity - SOBAMA-1994-1995.
