João Carlos de Andrade

B.S. (Chemistry,1972), Master in Inorganic Chemistry (1975) and Doctor in Sciences (1980), State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. Postdoctoral internship at the University of Manchester (1981) sponsored by UNESCO-UNDP and Visiting Professor at the University of Toronto (1983). Since 1993, Full Professor at the Department of Analytical Chemistry (UNICAMP), working on the development and optimization of analytical methods applied to complex samples, such as agronomic and environmental. From July 2008 to September 2013, Invited Professor at UNICAMP. From September 2013, Invited Researcher at this University, always involved with teaching activities in Chemistry and Instrumental Analysis techniques, with emphasis in optical spectroscopy in the UV-Vis region. Has special interest in writing and editing textbooks in chemistry and owns the educational site ChemKeys (www.chemkeys.com), since 1996. Presently, editor of the Chemkeys Journal, a publication maintained at InPPEC - Incubator of the Portal of Scientific and Educational Journals of the State University of Campinas.
