1026/5000 Bachelor in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of São Carlos, Master in Ecology and Natural Resources and PhD in Sciences from the same institution. Work with fungi and bacteria in several ecosystems, with special attention to caves, in order to corroborate with the knowledge of microbial biodiversity and discuss the functional role of the microrganisms in the dynamics of natural environments. I promote the discussion about the functional role of microorganism dynamics in ecosystems and the potential biotechnological of bacteria and fungi. I have experience in field collections and laboratory analyzes such as: physical-chemical characterization of samples, microbiological analysis and tests, water and soil quality assessment, use of microbiological indicators, immuno-specific tests, submerged and solid state fermentation, techniques of molecular biology, PCR and genetic sequencing.
